(a) [A] EXCEPT FOR THE USE OF STATE CERTIFIED RAPTORS
FOR HUNTING GAME BIRDS OR MAMMALS DURING OPEN SEASON, A
person may not hunt any game bird or mammal on Sundays.
However, an unarmed person participating in an organized fox
chase may chase foxes on Sundays.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Public Service Commission - Steam Heating Companies'

Fuel Costs

FOR the purpose of permitting steam heating companies to
utilize a sliding scale of charges in fuel costs;
requiring that such charges be reviewed once every 6
months; allowing the Public Service Commission to order
a steam heating utility to charge off and amortize
certain charges it finds unjustified; and generally
relating to steam heating companies' fuel costs.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 78 - Public Service Commission Law

54.

The Commission may when it deems necessary, and in
accordance with the requirements of § 54D and § 54F of this
article, permit a STEAM HEATING, gas, or electric utility to
establish a sliding scale for the adjustment of its fuel
costs, costs of purchased power, or costs of purchased gas.
