AN ACT concerning

Anne Arundel County - Bailiff

FOR the purpose of specifying that compensation for a
bailiff in Anne Arundel County shall be as set by the
court and approved by the county government, instead of
a designated amount.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings

2-506.

(a) A bailiff shall receive the compensation provided
in this section. Unless otherwise provided, the amount is a
per diem sum for each day he attends the circuit court.

(2) Anne Arundel County - [$15] AS SET BY THE
COURT AND APPROVED BY THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
