(3) THE PROCEEDS SHALL BE USED TO FUND DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE PROGRAMS WHICH HAVE 24 HOUR INTAKE ABILITY. THE
DIRECTOR OF THE COORDINATING COUNCIL ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE
SHALL PREPARE AN ANNUAL REPORT ON THE DISPOSITION OF FEES TO
BE AVAILABLE BY DECEMBER 1 OF EACH YEAR.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Somerset County - State's Attorney's Salary

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the State's
Attorney of Somerset County; and providing that this
Act does not affect the incumbent State's Attorney of
Somerset County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:

Article 10 - Attorneys at Law and Attorneys in Fact

40.

(t) In Somerset. County, (1) the State's Attorney's
salary is [$10,000] $16,000.

(2)  The State's Attorney's allowance for the
expenses of his office is $3,000.

(3)  The State's Attorney may appoint one or more
assistants at a salary set by the County Commissioners.
