The General Fund Appropriation
herein authorized may be
transferred by approved
budget amendment to other
State agencies with programs
providing services to the
aging. Included in the
appropriation herein
authorized is the amount of
$550,000 to be transferred
to the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene, to be
utilized for geriatric
evaluation and community
placement services, $165,000
to the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene for Day
Care for the Elderly,
$370,522 to the Department
of Human Resources for
public assistance to aged
adults, $2,180,921 to the
Department of Human
Resources for Homemaker and
Community Home Care Programs
and $116,656 to the
Department of Human
Resources for protective
services for the elderly.,
provided that the
appropriation for Gateway II
may not be expended pending
approval by the Fiscal
Committees during the 1982
interim of the plan
detailing how these funds
are to be spent and further
provided that the $120,000
shall not be expended for
the Family Support
Demonstration Project but
shall remain in the budget
and may be transferred to
the Gateway II project. .
Further provided that $30,000
of the appropriation for the
Family Support Demonstration
Project shall not be
expended for this purpose
but shall remain in the
budget and may be
transferred to the Gateway
II Project. Should any
additional funds become
available in the
