SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(as enacted by Chapter 800 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1981) read(s) as follows:

Article - Agriculture

9-501.

The existence of thistles belonging to the asteraceae
or compositae family [are] IS declared to be a public and
common nuisance.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect January 1, 1983.
