SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

20-1.

(g) The [Board may, subject to the approval of the]
County Commissioners[,] MAY employ such personnel as [it]
THEY may consider necessary to administer [its] THE
functions OF THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PARKS
properly. If [it employs] THEY EMPLOY a Director of
Recreation and Parks, he shall be a person with training,
experience, and capacity to initiate and maintain a program
of public recreation under his general supervision; and he
shall serve at the pleasure of the [Board] COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS. The salaries of all personnel shall be fixed
by the [Board, subject to the approval of the] COUNTY
Commissioners.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
