AN ACT concerning
Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy -
Examination Fees
FOR the purpose of providing that the Board of Public
Accountancy shall set fees to cover the costs of
examination for a candidate for a certificate as a
certified public accountant altering the examination
fee which the Board of Public Accountancy shall assess
a candidate for examination.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:
Article 75A - Public Accountancy
4.
[(e) The Board shall charge each candidate a fee to
be determined by the Board not in excess of $50.00 $70 for
his initial examination. A fee for reexamination or
subsequent examination shall also be charged by the Board in
an amount determined by it not in excess of $50.00 $70 for
each examination in all subjects, and in such smaller amount
for each examination in less than all subjects as the Board
may establish by regulation. The applicable fee shall in
each case accompany the candidate's examination
application.]
