19-510. SAME — OFFICERS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

FROM AMONG ITS MEMBERS, EACH BOARD SHALL ELECT A
CHAIRMAN AND OTHER OFFICERS THAT THE BOARD CONSIDERS
NECESSARY.

(B)  ELECTION AND TERMS OF OFFICE.

THE MANNER OF ELECTION OF OFFICERS AND THEIR TERMS OF
OFFICE SHALL BE AS THE BOARD DETERMINES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
the second clause of the first sentence and the
first clause of the second sentence of former
Article 43, § 603(e).

Subsection (b) of this section is standard
language added for clarity.

In subsection (a) of this section, the phrase
"{f}rom among its members" is added for
clarity.

The first clause of the first sentence of former
Article 43, § 603(e), which required an
organizational meeting, is deleted as obsolete.

19-511. SAME — MEETINGS; COMPENSATION.

(A)  MEETINGS.

EACH BOARD SHALL MEET AT LEAST 4 TIMES A YEAR, AT THE
TIMES AND PLACES THAT THE BOARD DETERMINES.

(B)  COMPENSATION.

A MEMBER OF A BOARD MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION.
