BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of St. Mary's County
Section 203-9

Article 19 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition, supplemented to December, 1980,
as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 19 - St. Mary's County

203-9.

Any person, firm, partnership, corporation or
association who shall commence construction in violation of
the terms of this chapter without having complied with the
provisions of this chapter and without having first obtained
a building permit as herein prescribed shall be fined not
less than [twenty-five dollars ($25.)] $25 nor more than
[one hundred dollars ($100.)] $1,000.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Commissioners' District

FOR the purpose of altering the number of County
Commissioner Districts in St. Mary's County; and
providing for the election of a County Commissioner
from the additional County Commissioner District; and
providing that this Act shall apply only to the terms
of office beginning in 1982.
