to that board, raising its total authorized membership to
six members. As a result, three members no longer are a
majority. The same situation exists as to §§ 11-306,
11-310, and 11-313 of this article, which relate to
osteopathy.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s)
25(i) through (k), respectively, of Article 1 - Rules of
Interpretation, of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
renumbered to be Section(s) 25(j) through (1), respectively,
of Article 1 - Rules of Interpretation.

SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That sections(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:

Article 1 - Rules of Interpretation

25.

(I) HEALTH OCCUPATIONS ARTICLE.

A SECTION OF THE HEALTH OCCUPATIONS ARTICLE MAY BE
CITED AS: "§ ______ OF THE HEALTH OCCUPATIONS ARTICLE."

Article 43 - Health

136.

[(a)] Any person, firm, or corporation is guilty of a
misdemeanor upon conviction of [the following] ANY VIOLATION
OF THE PROVISIONS OF § 133 OF THIS ARTICLE and shall be
fined not less than one hundred dollars or more than five
thousand dollars, or imprisoned for not less than one year
or more than five years, or both[:

(1)  The registration as a physician with the Board
when he is not a physician; or

(2)  The presentation of any false information to the
Board;

(3)  The practice of medicine contrary to § 122 of
this article; or

(4)  Any violation of provisions of § 133 of this
article].

[(b) A person is guilty of a misdemeanor upon
conviction of violating any of the provisions of § 134 of
this article and shall be fined not less than $25 nor more
than $500.]

REVISOR'S NOTE: Ch. ____, Acts of 1981, which enacted

the Health Occupations Article, also amended this
