(1)  MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION, BUT

COMPENSATION, AT A RATE DETERMINED BY THE BOARD, FOR EACH
DAY ON WHICH THE MEMBER IS ENGAGED IN THE DUTIES OF THE
MEMBER'S OFFICE; AND

(2)  IS ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT REIMBURSEMENT
FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS, AS
PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET REGULATIONS.

(D) STAFF.

THE BOARD MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STATE BUDGET.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 43, §§
801(d), (e), and (g), 804(5), and 805(d).

In subsection (a) of this section, the present
provision calling for a quorum of "four members"
is restated, without substantive change, in more
general language that refers to "a majority of
the full authorized membership of the Board".
This language conforms to similar provisions in
other titles of this article and will accommodate
possible future legislative changes in the number
of members to be appointed to the Board, without
the necessity of enacting a conforming change
here. As to the current "full authorized
membership" of the Board, see § 2-202(a)(l) of
this subtitle.

As to subsection (c) of this section, Standard
State Travel Regulations are adopted by the
Department of Personnel with the approval of the
Board of Public Works.

2-205. MISCELLANEOUS POWERS AND DUTIES.

IN ADDITION TO THE POWERS AND DUTIES SET FORTH
ELSEWHERE IN THIS TITLE, THE BOARD HAS THE FOLLOWING POWERS
AND DUTIES:

(1)  TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS TO CARRY OUT
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE;

(2)  TO ADOPT AND PUBLISH A CODE OF ETHICS FOR
THE PRACTICE OF AUDIOLOGY;

(3)  TO ADOPT AN OFFICIAL SEAL;

(4)  TO HOLD HEARINGS AND KEEP RECORDS AND
MINUTES NECESSARY FOR THE ORDERLY CONDUCT OF BUSINESS;

(5)  TO ISSUE A LIST ANNUALLY OF THE NAMES OF ALL
INDIVIDUALS LICENSED BY THE BOARD TO PRACTICE AUDIOLOGY; AND
