(D)  RETURN OF LICENSE.

AT THE END OF THE SUSPENSION PERIOD, THE BOARD SHALL
RETURN TO THE LICENSEE ANY LICENSE CERTIFICATE SURRENDERED
UNDER THIS SECTION.

(E)  RETENTION OF ORDER AS A PERMANENT RECORD.

THE BOARD AND THE COMMISSION EACH SHALL KEEP A COPY OF
THE ORDER OF SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION AS A PERMANENT RECORD.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first and
last clause of the first sentence and the entire
last sentence of Art. 43, § 130(m) and from Art.
43, § 130(n).

In subsection (a) of this section, the reference
to action under § 14-504 of this subtitle is
substituted for the present reference to
suspension or revocation in light of the broad
range of possible actions by the Commission under
that section.

Also as to subsection (a) of this section, the
first half of Art. 43, § 130(n), which relates to
the contents of the order, is deleted as
needlessly repetitive of the Administrative
Procedure Act.

14-508. ADMINISTRATIVE AND JUDICIAL REVIEW.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION FOR AN ACTION UNDER
§ 14-504 OF THIS SUBTITLE, ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY A FINAL
DECISION OF THE COMMISSION IN A CONTESTED CASE, AS DEFINED
IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE ACT, MAY:

(1)  APPEAL THAT DECISION TO THE BOARD OF REVIEW;
AND

(2)  THEN TAKE ANY FURTHER APPEAL ALLOWED BY THE
ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURE ACT.

(B)  AN ACTION UNDER § 14-504.

(1)  ANY PERSON AGGRIEVED BY A FINAL DECISION OF
THE COMMISSION UNDER § 14-504 OF THIS SUBTITLE MAY NOT
APPEAL TO THE BOARD OF REVIEW BUT MAY TAKE A DIRECT JUDICIAL
APPEAL.

(2)  THE APPEAL SHALL BE MADE AS PROVIDED FOR
JUDICIAL REVIEW OF FINAL DECISIONS IN THE ADMINISTRATIVE
PROCEDURE ACT.

(C) STAY OF DECISION.
