13-203. OFFICERS.

(A)  ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN.

FROM AMONG ITS MEMBERS, THE BOARD ANNUALLY SHALL ELECT
A CHAIRMAN.

(B)  MANNER OF ELECTION.

THE MANNER OF ELECTION OF THE CHAIRMAN SHALL BE AS THE
BOARD DETERMINES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
the first sentence of present Art. 43, § 606(d).

Subsection (b) of this section is standard
language added to clarify the manner of election
for the chairman of the Board.

(c) BOARD SECRETARY.

13-204. BOARD SECRETARY.

(A)  APPOINTMENT.

(1) THE BOARD SHALL APPOINT A BOARD SECRETARY,
WHO SERVES AT THE PLEASURE OF THE BOARD.

(B)  POWERS AND DUTIES.

(2) THE BOARD SECRETARY:

(I) (1) IS THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER OF THE
BOARD; AND

(II) (2) HAS THE POWERS AND DUTIES
ASSIGNED BY THE BOARD.

(A) QUORUM.

A MAJORITY OF THE FULL AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP OF THE
BOARD IS A QUORUM TO DO BUSINESS.
