(C) SEPARATE OFFENSES.
EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION OF ANY SECTION OF SUBTITLE 4
OF THIS TITLE CONTINUES CONSTITUTES A SEPARATE OFFENSE.
(D) REPORT OF CONVICTIONS.
WITHIN 10 DAYS AFTER A COURT RENDERS THE CONVICTION,
THE COURT SHALL REPORT TO THE BOARD EACH CONVICTION OF A
PHARMACIST FOR:
(1) ANY CRIME RESPECTING THE PHARMACY OR DRUG
LAWS THAT INVOLVES PROFESSIONAL MISCONDUCT; OR
(2) ANY CRIME THAT INVOLVES THE STATE LAW
REGARDING CONTROLLED DANGEROUS SUBSTANCES OR THE FEDERAL
NARCOTIC LAWS.
REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsections (a) through (c) of this
section are new language substituted for the
following provisions of present Art. 43, which
set forth the criminal status and penalties for
violations of the provisions revised in this
title: the third sentence of § 249; the second
half of the second sentence of § 251; the last
clause of § 252; the second sentence of § 254;
the third sentence of § 254A(c); the second half
of the second sentence of § 255; the second
sentence of § 264; § 265, except the first clause
of that section; the first sentence of § 268(e);
the reference in the seventh paragraph of § 269
to certain misdemeanors and the penalty for them;
the reference in § 270A(f) to certain
misdemeanors and the penalty for them; and §
271A(h).
Subsection (d) of this section presently appears
as Art. 43, § 266B.
In subsections (a) through (c) of this section,
the catchlines to each of the referenced sections
and subtitle are added as an aid to the reader
only. They are not intended to be part of the
substantive law (cf. Art. 1, § 18 of the Code)
and, for this reason, are placed in brackets.
