by the Department of Natural Resources from the Somers

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article - Natural Resources

5-908.1.

THERE IS A SOMERS COVE MARINA IMPROVEMENT FUND IN THE
DEPARTMENT, TO BE USED FOR THE OPERATION, MAINTENANCE,
DEVELOPMENT, AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE SOMERS COVE MARINA
FACILITIES IN CRISFIELD, MARYLAND. ANY MONEY OBTAINED BY
THE DEPARTMENT FROM SOMERS COVE MARINA SHALL BE CREDITED TO
THE SOMERS COVE MARINA IMPROVEMENT FUND.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

State Tobacco Authority - Daily Sales Quotas

FOR the purpose of requiring the State Tobacco Authority to
allocate selling time and tobacco poundage quotas among
licensed commission selling agencies to prevent
disorderly market conditions; requiring the Authority
to provide a quota for a new commission selling
agency; providing for the reallocation of a quota upon
a certain occurrence; requiring the Authority to
publish quotas; generally providing for quotas relating
to the sale of tobacco by certain persons; and making
this Act an emergency measure.
