A RESOLUTION TO AMEND SECTION 29-16 OF THE

CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF WOODSBORO, MARYLAND

PERMITTING THE PRIVATE SALE AND ISSUANCE OF

NOTES OR OTHER EVIDENCE OF INDEBTEDNESS

RESOLUTION of the Burgess and Commissioners of the Town
of Woodsboro adopted pursuant to the authority of Article
11-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland and
Sections 13 to 18, inclusive, of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement Volume and 1978
Cumulative Supplement), entitled "Corporations-Municipal",
to amend the municipal Charter of Woodsboro, Section 29-16
of Chapter 29 of the Frederick County Code, said Code being
Chap. 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
Frederick County and said Chapter being contained in the
Frederick County Code under the subtitle "Woodsboro"), so as
to authorize and empower the Burgess and Commissioners of
Woodsboro to borrow money and incur indebtedness, from time
to time, for any public purpose and to evidence such
borrowing or indebtedness by the sale and issuance of its
bonds, notes or other evidences, of indebtedness, and
providing generally for the sale; issuance and payment of
such bonds, notes or other evidences of indebtedness.

[Section 29-16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Frederick County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
