MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

CHARTER AMENDMENT RESOLUTION NO. 5-1979

WHEREAS the City of Mt. Rainier is desirous of
eliminating the requirement for an automatic referendum in
the event the Mayor and City Council chooses to grant a
franchise, and also to broaden the scope of the present
Charter provision pertaining to franchises.

[Section 53-21(e) of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County, 1963 Edition and 1967 Supplement,
repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date December 12, 1980]

OF OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND,
TO AMEND THE TOWN CHARTER

Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 13
through 18 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1973 Replacement Volume, to amend Subsection (B)
of Section C-506. "FILING STATEMENTS OF CANDIDACY" of The
Municipal Charter of the Town of Ocean City, Maryland by
amending the last sentence of subsection (B) to read as
follows:

[Section C-506 of the Charter of Ocean City, Worcester
County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

TO AMEND THE TOWN CHARTER

Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority of Section 13
through 18 of Article 23A, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1973 Replacement Volume, to amend Section C-410
"Vetoes" of The Municipal Charter of the Town of Ocean City,
Maryland by amending the second to last sentence to read as
follows:

[Section C-410 of the Charter of Ocean City, Worcester
County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date November 25, 1980]
