FOR the purpose of providing that holders of Class B and
Class C beer and light wine, and beer, wine, and liquor
licenses in Baltimore County may sell alcoholic
beverages at a bar on Sundays.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 90(a)(4)
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1981 Replacement Volume)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

90.

(a) (4) In Baltimore City AND BALTIMORE COUNTY, a
Class B and a Class C beer and light wine or beer, wine and
liquor licensee may sell alcoholic beverages at a bar or
counter on Sunday.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill 1210.

This bill allows holders of Class B or Class C beer and
light wine, and beer, wine, and liquor licenses in Baltimore
County to sell alcoholic beverages at a bar on Sundays.

Senate Bill 816, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 28, 1981, accomplishes
the same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign House Bill
1210.
