AN ACT concerning

Natural Resources - Concessions Management
Program

FOR the purpose of creating a concessions management program

and a Concessions Management Advisory Commission,

within the Department of Natural Resources and

appointed by the Secretary; providing for the

appointment of members; defining "concession" as the

right to construct, operate, or provide any

recreation related facility or service within a

State-owned or leased forest, park historic monument,

or similar recreation area, or Natural Resources

Management area; providing that it is policy of

the State to encourage private investment in

development, construction, and operation of such

concessions; providing for the submission of proposed
programs for review; renumbering certain provisions
authorizing the Department of Natural Resources to
enter into Concession Management Agreements provided
the agreements are in accordance with procedures
approved by the Board of Public Works; providing for an
Advisory Commission to review and comment on new
concession facilities; providing for local government
review and comment on plans for concessions proposed
within their jurisdiction; defining a certain
term;providing generally for the submission of proposed
plans and programs for review; and generally relating
to a concessions management program.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
