SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

St. Mary's County - Civil Zoning
Infractions Violations

FOR the purpose of allowing the county commissioners of St.
Mary's County to treat certain violations of zoning
ordinances as civil infractions; providing a system for
enforcing zoning ordinances and for civil fines as
punishment for certain violations of zoning ordinances;
allowing the district court to adjudicate civil zoning
violations; clarifying language; and generally relating
to civil zoning infractions.

FOR the purpose of establishing certain procedures to be
followed in St. Mary's County if the County
Commissioners provide for a civil penalty for certain
zoning violations; providing for district court
jurisdiction to adjudicate civil zoning violations; and
generally relating to civil zoning violations in St.
Mary's County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments
