Harford County - Hunting

FOR the purpose of altering the fine for hunting without
written permission in Harford County; and requiring
certain persons who hunt upon the lands of another in
Harford County to first obtain and have in their
possession the written leave or license of the owner or
possessor.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

268D.

Every person who shall, upon any pretense whatever,
come to hunt with gun any game upon the lands of another in
Harford County without FIRST OBTAINING AND HAVING IN THEIR
POSSESSION written leave or license from the owner or
possessors thereof, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor,
and on conviction thereof shall be fined not less than
[five] $25 nor more than [twenty-five dollars] $250.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
