STUDY COMMISSION TO CARRY OUT THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
SUBTITLE.
951.
(A) ANY STRUCTURE IN WHICH A FACILITY IS TO BE
OPERATED SHALL BE OF SOUND CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL MEET
CONSTRUCTION AND SAFETY STANDARDS FOR SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENCES IMPOSED BY THE COUNTY OR MUNICIPALITY IN WHICH
THE STRUCTURE IS BUILT OR OPERATED. A STRUCTURE IN WHICH A
FACILITY IS TO BE OPERATED MAY NOT BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY
WITH INSTITUTIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY STANDARDS.
(B) EVERY FACILITY, PURSUANT TO RULES AND REGULATIONS
AS PROMULGATED BY THE SECRETARY IN CONSULTATION WITH THE
HOSPICE REIMBURSEMENT STUDY COMMISSION, SHALL MAINTAIN A
LICENSED QUALIFIED PHYSICIAN WHO SHALL SERVE AS MEDICAL
DIRECTOR OF THE FACILITY, AS WELL AS AN ADEQUATE NURSING
SERVICE, PHARMACEUTICAL SERVICE, SOCIAL WORKER SERVICE,
PASTORAL CARE SERVICE AND DIETARY SERVICE. IN ADDITION,
THERE SHALL BE A LICENSED PHYSICIAN, OTHER THAN THE
PATIENT'S ATTENDING PHYSICIAN, ON CALL AND AVAILABLE 24
HOURS PER DAY, 7 DAYS PER WEEK.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning
Corporations and Associations - Indemnification
FOR the purpose of permitting, and requiring under certain
circumstances, indemnification of directors, officers,
employees, and agents of a corporation; generally
providing and establishing definitions, exceptions,
limitations, and procedures with respect to the
indemnification of directors, officers, employees, and
agents of a corporation; and repealing inconsistent
laws relating to this matter.
