SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Health Insurance - Benefits for Treatment of Mental Illness

FOR the purpose of requiring certain health insurance
policies, contracts, or certificates delivered or
issued for delivery or issued to within this State any
person in this State, or issued to any group which is
incorporated in and or has its an office in this State
a Maryland Resident to include benefits for expenses
for treatment of mental illness; generally relating to
extraterritorial application of certain insurance laws;
and clarifying language.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 354D(a), 470E(a), and 477E(a)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
