2656                                    LAWS OF MARYLAND                                 Ch. 709

SOME PROPORTION OF THE REVENUE DERIVED FROM THE VENDOR'S
SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES. THIS LICENSE SHALL BE SUBJECT
TO THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS:

(I)  THIS MONOPOLY SHALL NOT IMPINGE UPON
THE PROVISIONS OF § 25(K-1) OF THIS ARTICLE;

(II)  ONLY ON-SALE TRANSACTIONS SHALL BE
PERMITTED; AND

(III)  CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
SHALL BE RESTRICTED TO THE PREMISES.

25.

(k-1) (i) The board of license commissioners of

Worcester County, with the approval of the Ocean City

Convention Hall Commission or their successors, may issue a

temporary beer, wine and liquor license, Class B, to the

representative PERMIT THE MEMBERS AND GUESTS of any bona
fide NONPROFIT religious, fraternal, civic, PATRIOTIC,
POLITICAL, FIREMEN, GOVERNMENTAL-SUPPORT, ARMED SERVICES,
war veterans, hospital or charitable organization or
professional, trade, employee or labor organization, or any
caterer contracted with, or employed by such organization to
serve such organization upon the premises of the Ocean City

Convention Hall. The said license shall authorize the

holder thereof to exercise any of the privileges conferred
by the said class of license only upon said premises. The
fee for said license shall be $10 per day.

(ii) THE BOARD MAY NOT ISSUE MORE THAN 10
OF THESE 1-DAY LICENSES IN A CALENDAR YEAR. TO BRING THEIR
OWN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ONTO THE PREMISES OF THE HALL
WITHOUT ANY TYPE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES LICENSE, IF:

1.  THESE BEVERAGES ARE NOT SOLD; AND

2.  THEIR CONSUMPTION IS RESTRICTED
TO THE PREMISES.

(II) THE BOARD OF LICENSE COMMISSIONERS OF
WORCESTER COUNTY, WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE OCEAN CITY
CONVENTION HALL COMMISSION OR THEIR SUCCESSORS, MAY PERMIT
THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF OCEAN CITY OR ITS DESIGNEE TO
SPONSOR A FUNCTION AT WHICH THE PATRONS ARE PERMITTED TO
BRING THEIR OWN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ONTO THE PREMISES OF THE
HALL WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSE, IF:

1.  THESE BEVERAGES ARE NOT SOLD; AND

2.  THEIR CONSUMPTION IS RESTRICTED
TO THE PREMISES.

[(ii)] (III) All licensees shall purchase
all wines and liquors, except light wine and beer, from the
liquor control board for Worcester County. They shall be
