(3) FOLLOWING REVIEW OF THE UNIFORM STANDARDS BY
THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE, THESE STANDARDS SHALL BE SENT TO THE
APPROPRIATE CONTRACTING AGENCY FOR INCLUSION IN THE ANNUAL
GOODS AND SERVICE PROCUREMENT CONTRACTS.
(C) (1) THE CONTRACTING AGENCY SHALL INFORM ALL
CONSUMER STATE AGENCIES, AND CONSUMER POLITICAL
SUBDIVISIONS, EACH STATE AGENCY FOR WHICH IT PROCURES GOODS
OR SERVICES WITHIN 60 DAYS OF THE AWARD OF THE CONTRACTS.
ALL SUCH AGENCIES AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS THAT REQUIRE
SUCH GOODS AND SERVICES FOR THEIR OPERATION SHALL TRANSMIT
INFORMATION TO STATE USE INDUSTRIES OF THEIR ANTICIPATED
ORDERS DURING THE NEXT 1 YEAR PERIOD.
(2) IN THE EVENT THAT STATE USE INDUSTRIES IS
NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE ANY OF THE GOODS AND SERVICES UNDER
CONTRACT, THE CONTRACTING AGENCY WILL BE NOTIFIED IN ORDER
TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ALTERNATIVE ACTION TO MEET THE NEEDS OF
THE CONSUMER AGENCIES STATE AGENCIES FOR WHICH IT PROCURES
GOODS OR SERVICES.

THE SALE OF PRODUCTS AND SERVICES OF STATE USE
INDUSTRIES ON THE OPEN MARKET IS PROHIBITED, EXCEPT:
(1) SALES OF STATE USE INDUSTRIES GOODS OR
SERVICES PRODUCED BY PERSONS ON PAROLE OR IN WORK RELEASE
TYPE PROGRAMS;
(2) SALES OF STATE USE INDUSTRIES GOODS OR
SERVICES TO ANY CHARITABLE, CIVIC, EDUCATIONAL, FRATERNAL,
OR RELIGIOUS ASSOCIATION, INSTITUTION, OR AGENCY FOR ITS OWN
USE AND NOT FOR RESALE TO OTHERS WITHIN 1 YEAR OF PURCHASE;
(3) SALES OF STATE USE INDUSTRIES GOODS OR
SERVICES TO ANY PERSON, FIRM, OR CORPORATION FOR PURPOSES OF
NATIONAL DEFENSE WHEN NOT PROHIBITED BY THE ACTS OF
CONGRESS; OR
(4) SURPLUS GOODS FROM STATE USE INDUSTRIES
WHICH REMAIN AFTER MEETING THE FORCASTED REQUIREMENTS OF
STATE AGENCIES AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS IF REMAINING
UNSOLD AFTER 2 YEARS.

THE COMMISSIONER AND GENERAL MANAGER SHALL DEVELOP
PROGRAMS OF OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCES TO COMPLEMENT THE
MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT PLANS OF THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF
EDUCATION AND OTHER AGENCIES SERVING THE RESIDENTS OF
DIVISION OF CORRECTION INSTITUTIONS. IN THIS FUNCTION, THE
COMMISSIONER AND GENERAL MANAGER SHALL CONSULT WITH THE
FOLLOWING INDIVIDUALS WHO SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE
APPROPRIATE ASSISTANCE:
