SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments

70C.

(c) (3) Each member of the Commission other than the
Attorney General, Secretary of General Services, and
Secretary of State Planning shall serve a term of office
which is 3 years, except that, of the initial members, three
shall be appointed for a term of 1 year, [four] THREE shall
be appointed for a term of 2 years, and [three] TWO shall be
appointed for a term of 3 years.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

Patuxent Institution - Personal Records

FOR the purpose of providing that a trial judge may obtain
records, reports, and information pertaining to inmates
of Patuxent Institution when required for pretrial,
presentence, or postsentence investigation.
