(ii) Warrant the belief that the business
will be operated lawfully, honestly, fairly, and
efficiently.

(b) The [Bank] Commissioner OF CONSUMER CREDIT may
deny an application for a license to any person who has
committed any act that would be a ground for the suspension
or revocation of a license under § 12-316 of this subtitle.

12-306.

(a) (1) To apply for a license, an applicant shall
sign and submit to the [Bank] Commissioner OF CONSUMER
CREDIT a verified application on the form that the [Bank]
Commissioner OF CONSUMER CREDIT requires.

(2) The application shall include:

(i) The applicant's name, business
address, and, if the applicant is an individual, residence
address;

(ii) If the applicant is a corporation,
the name, business address, and residence address of each of
its officers and directors;

(iii) If the applicant is a partnership or
other association, the name, business address, and residence
address of each of its members;

(iv) The address at which the business is
to be conducted; and

(v) Any other information that the [Bank]
Commissioner OF CONSUMER CREDIT requires.

(b)  With the application, the applicant shall pay to
the [Bank] Commissioner OF CONSUMER CREDIT:

(1)  An investigation fee of $100; and

(2)  A license fee of either:

(i) $300 if the applicant applies for a
license to be issued on or after January 1 and on or before
June 30; or

(ii) $150 if the applicant applies for a
license to be issued on or after July 1 and on or before
December 31.

(c) (1) With the application, the applicant shall file
a surety bond.

(2) The surety bond filed under this subsection
shall run to the [Bank] Commissioner OF CONSUMER CREDIT for
the benefit of this State and of any person who has a cause
