(1)  Submit to the Board:

(i) An application on the form that the
Board requires; and

(ii) Written, verified evidence of
completion of the appropriate education requirements of §
7-302 of this subtitle; and

(2)  Pay to the Board the application fee set by
the Board.

[(b) To apply for a license as a nurse midwife, an
applicant shall:

(1)  Submit to the Board an application on the
form that the Board requires; and

(2)  Pay to the Board the application fee set by
the Board.]

7-307.

(a) The Board shall issue the appropriate license to
any applicant who meets the requirements for a license as:

(1)  A registered nurse under this title; AND

(2)  A licensed practical nurse under this
title[; and

(3)  A licensed nurse midwife under this title].

7-310.

(a) [Except for a license to practice-midwifery, a] A
license expires every 2 years, unless the license is renewed
for a 2-year term as provided in this section.

7-312.

(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 7-313 of
this subtitle, the Board may deny a license to any
applicant, reprimand any licensee, or suspend or revoke the
license of a licensee if the applicant or licensee:

(1)  Fraudulently or deceptively obtains or
attempts to obtain a license for the applicant or for
another;

(2)  Fraudulently or deceptively uses a license;

(3)  Has had a license or registration from any
other state or country denied, suspended, or revoked;

(4)  Is convicted of:
