is no ground for disciplinary action that is
based on comparable language. If the intent of
the General Assembly was to prohibit certain
specific behavior, both this section and § 6-315
of this subtitle should be amended.

6-303. APPLICATION FOR MORTICIAN LICENSE,.

TO APPLY FOR A MORTICIAN LICENSE, AN APPLICANT SHALL:

(1)  SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE BOARD ON THE
FORM THAT THE BOARD REQUIRES; AND

(2)  PAY TO THE BOARD A LICENSE FEE OF $10.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first clause
of the first sentence of Art. 43, § 346 and the
second sentence of § 347(b).

Item (1) of this, section is standard language
added to this and, where necessary, corresponding
sections of other titles of this article. It
states expressly a provision that presently is
only implied in the law: i.e., that applications
may be made only on the form required by the
Board.

6-304. EXAMINATIONS.

(A)  RIGHT TO EXAMINATION.

AN APPLICANT WHO OTHERWISE QUALIFIES FOR A MORTICIAN
LICENSE IS ENTITLED TO BE EXAMINED AS PROVIDED IN THIS
SECTION IF THE APPLICANT:

(1)  HOLDS AN APPRENTICE LICENSE; OR

(2)  HAS COMPLETED THE APPRENTICESHIP
REQUIREMENTS OF THIS TITLE."

(B)  TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL GIVE EXAMINATIONS TO APPLICANTS ONCE
EACH YEAR, AT THE TIMES AND PLACES THAT THE BOARD
DETERMINES.

(C)  NOTICE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL NOTIFY EACH QUALIFIED APPLICANT OF THE
TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

(D)  SUBJECTS AND METHOD OF EXAMINATION.

(1) THE EXAMINATION SHALL INCLUDE:

(I) THE THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS
OF ANATOMY, SANITATION, DISINFECTION, AND EMBALMING;
