subsequent convictions for the same offense, the person
shall be fined not less than five hundred dollars ($500.00)
or more than two thousand dollars ($2,000.00); provided,
however, that the person or persons convicted by the
District Court shall have the right to appeal to the circuit
court within thirty days from the date of conviction.]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
