Health Occupations Article - Definition of
Household Member

FOR the purpose of changing the meaning of "household
member" throughout the Health Occupations Article.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 1-101(e)
Annotated Code of Maryland

(As enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts

of the General Assembly of 1981)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1981) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

1-101.

(e) "Household member" means someone who is:

(1)   [the] THE individual's [relative, by blood
or marriage, or ward, and]:

(I)  SPOUSE;

(II)  SON;

(III)  DAUGHTER;

(IV)  WARD; OR

(V)  PARENT; OR

(2)  THE INDIVIDUAL'S RELATIVE:
