[and] Baltimore City, AND WORCESTER COUNTY the boards of
license commissioners are also authorized to subpoena any
records or papers pertaining to a licensed business or
establishment. If any witness shall refuse to produce any
records or papers so subpoenaed the board shall report the
fact to the circuit court for the county or the Superior
Court of Baltimore City as the case may be, and the court is
hereby authorized and directed to proceed by attachment
against the witness in all respects as if the refusal had
been by a witness summoned to appear in the court in a case
pending before it.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning
Carroll County - Alcoholic Beverages -
Election Day Deliveries
FOR the purpose of providing that holders of wholesalers' or
manufacturers' licenses may sell or deliver alcoholic
beverages to retail license holders on election days in
Carroll County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 79 and 80(a) and (b)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
79.
(a) Except as provided in subsections (b) and (c), the
hours during which alcoholic beverages may be sold or
delivered to retail license holders by holders of
manufacturers' licenses shall be from 6 o'clock a.m. to 12
o'clock midnight, on every day except Sundays and election
days.
