The provision in present Art. 32, § 25A(d) that
defines "county" is deleted as unnecessary in
light of the definition of "county" in § 1-101 of
this article.

SUBTITLE 4. DENTAL LABORATORY WORK.

4-401. DEFINITIONS.

(A)  IN GENERAL.

IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS
INDICATED.

(B)  DENTAL TECHNICIAN.

"DENTAL TECHNICIAN" MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL WHO DOES DENTAL
LABORATORY WORK.

(C)  WORK AUTHORIZATION.

"WORK AUTHORIZATION" MEANS A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR DENTAL
LABORATORY WORK.

(D)  SUBCONTRACTED WORK AUTHORIZATION.

"SUBCONTRACTED WORK AUTHORIZATION" MEANS A WRITTEN
REQUEST FOR SUBCONTRACTED DENTAL LABORATORY WORK.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 32, §
25(c)l.b. and c.

Subsection (a) of this section is new language
used as the standard introductory language to a
definition section.

In subsection (b) and (c) of this section, the
present references to the specifics as to what a
written work authorization shall contain and who
may authorize a dental technician to do dental
laboratory work are deleted as unnecessary in
light of the detailed provisions of this
subtitle.

Subsection (d) of this section is new language
added for clarity.
