Ch. 323

(p) This section shall not apply to Allegany,
Caroline, Charles, Dorchester, Garrett, Howard, Queen
Anne's, and Talbot counties, in all of which jurisdictions
such licenses shall not be issued.

16.

(u) In Somerset County the annual fee for this license
is $200.

(z) This section does not apply to the City of
Annapolis nor to Calvert, Caroline, Dorchester, Frederick,
Harford, Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, and Talbot
counties, in all of which jurisdictions the licenses may not
be issued.

21.

(1-1) In Somerset County the annual fee for this
license is $1,000.

(m) The licenses shall be issued only in Baltimore
City, Allegany, Kent, Somerset, St. Mary's, Washington, and
Wicomico counties and in the towns of North Beach and
Chesapeake Beach in Calvert County and in the Town of Ocean
City in Worcester County.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 324

(Senate Bill 901)

AN ACT concerning

Medical Care Programs - Fraud

FOR the purpose of applying to additional persons and to
additional circumstances the provision that makes a
person ineligible for payments under the Maryland
Medical Assistance Program if the person is convicted
of fraud; providing definitions of certain terms; and
providing that persons convicted of fraud in relation
to a medical assistance program in certain other
jurisdictions also shall be ineligible.
