HARRY HUGHES, Governor

FOR the purpose of removing automotive dismantlers and
recyclers from the definition of "automotive graveyard"

and "junkyard" in Title 8, Subtitle 8 of the

Transportation Article; providing that a business may
not be licensed under Title 15, Subtitle 5 of this
article unless certain qualifications are met; and
generally relating to the regulation and licensing of
automotive dismantlers and recyclers.

FOR the purpose of removing automotive dismantlers and
recyclers from the definition of "automotive graveyard"
and "junkyard" in Title 8, Subtitle 8 of the
Transportation Article; altering the definition of
"junkyard"; defining the term "automotive dismantler
and recycler facility"; altering certain sections of
Title 8, Subtitle 8 the Code so that automotive
dismantler and recycler facilities are continued to be
regulated and licensed in the same manner as they
currently are; and generally relating to the regulation
licensing of automotive dismantler and recycler
facilities.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
