(II) BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PERSON
TRANSPORTING A MOTORCYCLE TO THE TEST BY TRUCK OR OTHER
VEHICLE, IF THAT PERSON IS LICENSED TO DRIVE THE TRUCK OR
OTHER VEHICLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

(Senate Bill 367)

AN ACT concerning

Natural Resources Law Enforcement Employees

FOR the purpose of providing that law enforcement employees
of the Department of Natural Resources may receive
overtime compensation out of funds from sources other
than the general fund of the State, such as those
allocated from federal, county, or municipal sources,
or State special fund sources.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment

Section 76(d)(3)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1979 Replacement Volume and 1980 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 100 - Work, Labor and Employment

76.

(d) (3) Funds, other than those designated out of the
general funds of the State, which are allocated from
federal, county, or municipal sources, or from State special
fund sources, may be used to pay overtime to law-enforcement
employees of the Maryland State Police OR THE DEPARTMENT OF
NATURAL RESOURCES whether or not the maximum limits for each
rank listed above have been paid. A rank above captain IN
THE STATE POLICE OR A NATURAL RESOURCES MAJOR is not
entitled to receive overtime in any case.
