CHAPTER 242

(Senate Bill 496)

AN ACT concerning

Judicial Proceedings - Evidence - Blood Alcohol Content -
Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol

FOR the purpose of changing the evidentiary effect of the
results of a test of a person's blood or breath as it
pertains to certain alcohol-related offenses of the
criminal and vehicle laws; changing the terminology of
the offense of driving while ability impaired by
alcohol to driving while under the influence of
alcohol; providing for the implementation of a
terminology change where appropriate in the Annotated
Code; and clarifying language.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
