OTHER VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNAL APPROVED BY THE UNITED STATES
COAST GUARD, IN ANY VESSEL USED UPON THE PUBLIC WATERWAYS OF
THIS STATE, OR IN ANY VEHICLE WHILE TRANSPORTING A VISUAL
DISTRESS SIGNAL TO OR FROM A VESSEL TO BE USED IN THE STATE
IF UNLOADED AND CARRIED IN AN ENCLOSED CASE, IN ANY VEHICLE.

THIS SUBTITLE DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY SIGNAL PISTOL OR
OTHER VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNAL APPROVED BY THE UNITED STATES
COAST GUARD FOR USE AS A MARINE SAFETY DEVICE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning

Chemical Test for Alcohol - Selection of Test

FOR the purpose of providing that a police officer may
select the type of chemical test for alcohol to be
administered under certain conditions; providing that
persons under certain conditions shall be deemed not to
have withdrawn consent to take a chemical test for
alcohol; clarifying language; and generally relating to
the selection of a chemical test for alcohol.
