(2)  IS LICENSED TO PRACTICE OSTEOPATHY IN THIS
STATE OR IN ANOTHER STATE ON THE DATE THAT THE APPLICATION
FOR A RESTRICTED LICENSE IS SUBMITTED TO THE BOARD;

(3)  SUBMITS AN APPLICATION TO THE BOARD ON THE
FORM THAT THE BOARD REQUIRES;

(4)  PAYS TO THE BOARD THE RESTRICTED LICENSE FEE
SET BY THE BOARD; AND

(5)  MEETS ANY OTHER REQUIREMENT SET BY THE
BOARD.

(C)  A RESTRICTED LICENSE AUTHORIZES THE LICENSE HOLDER
TO PRACTICE OSTEOPATHY WHILE THE RESTRICTED LICENSE IS
EFFECTIVE.

(D)  THE TERM AND RENEWAL OF A RESTRICTED LICENSE SHALL
BE AS PROVIDED FOR A LICENSE UNDER § 14-314 OF THIS
SUBTITLE.

(E)  SUBJECT TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE
PROCEDURE ACT, THE COMMISSION ON THE AFFIRMATIVE VOTE OF ITS
FULL AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP, MAY REPRIMAND A RESTRICTED
LICENSE HOLDER, MAY PLACE ANY RESTRICTED LICENSE HOLDER ON
PROBATION, OR SUSPEND OR REVOKE A RESTRICTED LICENSE FOR ANY
OF THE GROUNDS FOR COMMISSION ACTION UNDER § 14-504 OF THIS
TITLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

(House Bill 1061)

AN ACT concerning

Marine Visual Distress Signals

FOR the purpose of exempting marine signal pistols and other
visual distress signals, approved by the United States
Coast Guard, from the provisions on dealer registration
and sale of handguns; exempting the distress signals
from handgun permit requirements if used on the waters
of the State or in transport to and from a vessel to be
used on the waters of the State under certain
circumstances, during transportation in any vehicle;
and making this Act an emergency measure.
