the license of an individual whose license is suspended or
revoked under § ll-310(a)(4) of this subtitle, which relates
to habitual intoxication or addiction.
(c) The Board may not reinstate a license that has
been suspended or revoked for more than 2 years. However,
the former licensee may apply for a new license under the
current licensing requirements of this title.]
[Subtitle 4. Prohibited Acts; Penalties]
[11-401.
A person may not practice, attempt to practice, or
offer to practice osteopathy in this State unless licensed
by the Board.]
[11-402.
(a) Unless authorized to practice osteopathy under
this title, a person may not represent to the public by
title, by description of services, methods, or procedures,
or otherwise, that the person is authorized to practice
osteopathy in this State.
(b) (1) Except as provided in this subsection, unless
authorized to practice under this title, a person may not
use the words or terms "osteopath", "osteopathist",
"osteopathy", "doctor of osteopathy", "diplomate in
osteopathy", or "D.O." with the intent to represent that the
person practices osteopathy.
(2) A holder of a degree of osteopathy who is
authorized to practice medicine in this State may use the
degree or an abbreviation for the degree in connection with
the name of the holder.]

A person may not practice or attempt to practice
osteopathy under a false name.]
[11-404.
An applicant for a license may not represent falsely
that the applicant holds a diploma or degree from a college
or university accredited by the American Osteopathic
Association.]
[11-407.
(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this
section, a person who violates any provision of this
subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is
subject to a fine not exceeding $500 or imprisonment in jail
not exceeding 90 days or both.
