SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

98.

(a) In Frederick County notwithstanding any other
provision of this subtitle, the privilege conferred by every
class of "on-sale" license may be exercised during the hours
from 6 [o'clock] a.m. to [1 o'clock] 2 a.m., except on
Sundays, when the hours shall be from 1 [o'clock] p.m. to [1
o'clock] 2 a.m. Provided, however, that nothing in this
section shall apply to holders of Class E licenses.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
