AN ACT concerning

Calvert County - Tax Sales - Advertising

FOR the purpose of repealing the limit on the amount that
may be expended for advertising tax sales in Calvert
County.

BY repealing

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
Section 76(b)

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes

76.

[(b) In Calvert County the cost of publishing in any
one newspaper, the advertisement for the tax sale of any one
tract or lot, all of which is owned by the same tax
delinquent or delinquents, shall not exceed the sum of three
dollars ($3.00).]

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

Calvert County - Salaries

FOR the purpose of altering the salary of the county
commissioners, treasurer, sheriff, State's Attorney,
jurors, members and chairman of the Board of Education,
and the members and chairman of the Board of License
Commissioners of Calvert County; and providing that
this Act does not affect certain incumbent office
holders.
