shall take effect July 1, 1981.

CHAPTER 193

(House Bill 1054)

AN ACT concerning

Frederick County - Volunteer Fire
and Rescue Companies - Loans

FOR the purpose of providing that the Frederick County
Commissioners may provide loans to approved volunteer
fire or rescue companies; and providing that the
amounts and terms of the loans shall be as approved by
the Board of County Commissioners.

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of Frederick County
Section 2-8-4

Article 11 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1979 Edition, supplemented to April, 1980,
as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 11 - Frederick County

2-8-4.

THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FREDERICK COUNTY
MAY PROVIDE LOANS TO APPROVED VOLUNTEER FIRE OR RESCUE
COMPANIES FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE OR RESCUE EQUIPMENT TO BE
USED BY THE COMPANIES. THE LOANS SHALL BE IN SUCH AMOUNTS
AND UPON SUCH TERMS AS ARE APPROVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
