emergency vehicle from the duty to drive with due regard for
the safety of all persons.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Certain Health Occupations Boards - Continuation

FOR the purpose of continuing the State Board of
Chiropractic Examiners, the State Board of Morticians,
the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, and the
State Board of Podiatry Examiners in accordance with
the provisions of the Regulatory Programs Evaluation
Act of 1978 (Sunset Law) by extending to a certain date
the termination provision relating to the statutory and
regulatory authority of these boards in this State.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 3-602, 6-602, 13-502, and 15-602

Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1981) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article - Health Occupations

3-602.

Subject to the evaluation and reestablishment
provisions of the Regulatory Programs Evaluation Act of
1978, this title and all rules and regulations adopted under
this title shall terminate and be of no effect after July 1,
[1982] 1988.
