LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch.8

The present requirement in Art. 43, § 503(a) that
an applicant list the names of the teachers under
whom the applicant studied chiropractic is
deleted as obsolete and impractical.

The provision in present Art. 43, § 503(a) that
requires an applicant to apply for a license "at
least twenty (20) days prior to any meeting of
said Board" is deleted as misleading in light of
the last sentence of present Art- 43, § 501(b),
which provides that an application for an
examination be submitted to the Board 15 days
before the examination and in light of current
Board practice.

The present requirement of Art. 43, § 503(b) that
the application fee be paid specifically to the
secretary-treasurer of the Board is deleted as
unnecessary. The present provision that relates
to the additional $25 fee that is payable on
issuance of a license now appears in § 3-306 of
this subtitle.

As to the meaning of "verified" see § 1-201 of
this article.
