HARRY HUGHES, Governor

107

Subsection (b) of this section is rephrased in
the standard language used throughout this
article to state affirmatively that an individual
must be licensed to practice a health occupation
in this State. See also § 3-501 of this title.

The exception in present Art. 43, § 502 for
"persons who are now actually engaged in the
practice of such profession," is deleted as
obsolete. The language refers to individuals who
were practicing in 1920, none of whom are still
in practice.

As to the relative authority of the State Board
of Chiropractic Examiners and the State Board of
Physical Therapy Examiners, and the relationship
between the two health occupations, see the
General Revisor's Note to this title.
