      Peace and ye quite rule and Government of our people wthin our Sd Countÿ in all & Singular
      the articles therein Expressed according to ye form force & Effect of ye Same & Chastize &
      punnish all or anÿ prson or prsons offending ye Lawes anÿ of ye Said Lows ordinancers or Sta=
    =tutes according to ye Directions thereof and Call before yw or anÿ of yw all those who Shall
      threatn to Doe anÿ bodlÿ harm to anÿ our good people or to burn their houses or other=
      wise break our peace and misbehave themselves to finde Such Securÿtie yt yn yw
      Cause them to be Comitted in Safe Custodÿ untill theÿ Shall finde ye Same; allsoe wee
      have assigned yw: and Everÿ three or more of yw. of wee will yw, the Sd Thomas
      Smith Elias King Thomas Ringold and Nathaniel Wright or one of yw: awaÿs
      to be one our Justices to Inquire bÿ oathes of good and Lawfull men of our Countÿ
      afsd bÿ whom the truth of ye matter maÿ be ye better knowne, of all & all —
      manner of fellonÿes wichcrafts Inchantmts. Sorcerÿes arts magick trespasses forestallings
      regrateing in Grossings & Extortions whatsoever and of all & other misfeazances of
      Justices our peace Lawfullÿ maÿ ought a. to Enquire bÿ whomsoever or howsever in
      our Countÿ afsd Done or Comitted or which hereafter maÿ happen to be Done or
      attempted and allsoe of all Such who in our Countÿ afsd in roiteous manner have
      gone or rode or Shall hereafterprsume, goe or ride wth armed force agt our Sd peace to ye ~
      Disturbance of our people and of all Such as have laine or Shall hereafter prsume
      to Laÿ in waite to maime or kill anÿ of our Said people, and allsoe of all ~
      ordinarÿ keepers and ot Such other prsons who have offended or attempted or —
      hereafter Shall prsume to offend or attempt to offend in ye abuse of weights
      or measures or in Selling anÿ liquors according to ye form of ye acts of assemblÿ
      for ye Comõn Good & prfitt now in this Province made and used, And allsoe of
      the Sherfs baillifs Constables and other officers who have or Shall hereafter
      misbehave themselves in ye Executions or their offices or have been fear=
    :full remiss or negligent therein or Shall hereafter happen Soe to be wthin
      our Countÿ afsd and of all and Everÿ ye articles matters & things whatsoever
                                     or bÿ whomsoever
      howsoever as bÿ whatsoever wthin our Countÿ afsd Done or Comitted or yt here=
    :after happen to be Done or attempted Concerning the prmisses or anÿ of them &
      to Inspect all Indictmts. Soe before yw or anÿ or yw: taken or to be taken or
      before our Late Justices of ye peace wthin our Sd Countÿ had & taken and not
      Determined and process thereon agt all or anÿ of ye Sd prsons Soe Indicted
      or which Shall hereafter happen to be Indicted to make and Continue untill
      Theÿ Shall be taken Surrendr. themselves or be outlawed and to hear & Deter
      mine all and Everÿ ye fellonies witchcrafts Enchantmts. Sorceries Arts magick
