        This accõn being Continued Since last Court, the S^d Def^t Comes in his proper —
        person here before this Court and Saÿeth y^t he is Justlÿ Indebted to y^e S^d
      pltf in y^e Sum^e afs^d; Which being bÿ y^e Court heard & fullÿ understood It is
        bÿ y^e Justices here Considered this 28^th Daÿ of March 1704 y^t y^e S^d pltf recov^r
        ag^t y^e S^d Def^t as well y^e Sum^e of three thousand pounds of tob^o y^e Debt afs^d
        as y^e Sum^e of two hundred & four pounds tob^o Cost of Suit ——

Ditto	\| marchantable leafe tob^o w^ch Caske, and abell being filed as afs^d ag^t y^e
	\| S^d Def^t, upon w^ch y^e S^d Def^t here in open Court Saÿeth y^t he is
	\| & Stands Justlÿ Indebted unto y^e S^d pltf in y^e Afs^d Sum^e of 600 hundred pds
	\| of tob^o and is therefore willing y^t Judg^t be Intred ag^t him for y^e Same &
	Cost of Suit —

W^m: Whitehead	\| Marÿ his wife of a plea of trespass upon y^e Case; And whereupon y^e
	\| Said Allxd^r & Marÿ by Mÿchael Earle Their att^rÿ complaines & Saÿeth
	that whereas y^e S^d Marÿ when Sole &c^a as appears p^r y^e Declaⁿ
	and acc^t filed in this Court bÿ y^e S^d Michael Earle att^rÿ &c^a y^e S^d acc^t &c^a

       amõunting to y^e Sum^e of four pounds Sixteen Shillings, & Six pence Ster^g:
        And y^e S^d Def^t bÿ Richard Macklin his att^rÿ Comes & Defends y^e force & Enjurÿ wⁿ
      &c^a and after produceing his warrant &c^a praÿed leave to Imparle thereunto —
      untill next Court w^ch was Granted him y^e Same Daÿ was Given y^e pltf allsoe
      Att which S^d Next Court to witt y^e y^e 24^th Daÿ of March anno Dñi 1702 this —
      accon was Continued, and was Soe Continued and Soe it was Continued from Court to
      Court untill this p^rsent Court when comes ~~y^e~~ as well y^e S^d pltf bÿ his att^rÿ afs^d
      as y^e S^d Def^t bÿ his S^d Att^rÿ who further Defends y^e force & Enjurÿ when &c^a

        Sixteen Shills & Six pence the Demand in y^e pltfs Declaⁿ as bÿ an acc^t hereunto annexed
        and here in Court produced amounting to y^e Sum^e of Eight pds Eight pence Cur^rent
        moneÿ y^e Same appears 4^ls:16^s:6^d of w^ch afs^d 8^ls:00^s:8^d: The Def^t humblÿ Craves this
        this Court maÿ be allowed him in Discount of y^e afs^d 4^ls:16^s:6^d: in y^e pltfs Decaⁿ men=
        tioned according to an act of assemblÿ in Such Cases made & p^rvided &c^a & thereup
