     Countÿ planr: in the Province of Mariland was Sumõned to

     answer unto John Nabb of a plea that he rendr: him ye full

     and Just Sume of five hundred pounds of good, Sound ~

     merchantable leafe tobacco & Cask which to him he oweth

     and from him he unjustlÿ Detaines ~    ~    ~    ~
      And Whereupon ye Said John Nabb bÿ R: Macklin his Attrÿ Complaines that
      whereas the Said John Sweatnam on ye 11th Daÿ of June Anno Dñi att Kent
      Countÿ within ye Jurisdiction of this Court bÿ his Certaine bill or writeing
      obligatorÿ Sealed wth: his Seal as his act & Deed Delivered and hereinto Court
      brought whose Date is the Daÿ & year aforesd Did bind himselfe his heires
      Exrs: and admrs: to paÿ or Cause to be paid unto ye Said John Nabb his heires
      Exrs: admrs assignes ye aforesd Sume of 500ls tobo qualified as afsd Convenient
      in Kent Countÿ att or upon the tenth Daÿ of Octobr: next Ensueing the ~
      the Date of ye Same Obligation yett notwthstanding the Said John ~
      Sweatnam the afsd Sume of five hundred pounds of tobo according to tenr of the
      Same bill obligatorÿ unto the Said John Nabb hath not paÿd but ye Same
      to paÿ he hath and Still Doth Denÿ and unjustlÿ Detaine to ye Damãge
      of the Said John Nabb 1000ls of Tobo and thereupon he brings this Suit ~

           This bill bindeth me John Sweatnam of Kent Countÿ in the
      Province of Marÿland planter mÿ heir’s Exrs: & admrs: to paÿ or Cause to be
      paid unto John Nabb of Talbott Countÿ Corder. his heires Ex s: admrs: or assignes
      the full and Just Sume of five hundred pounds of good, Sound merchant:
    =able Leafe tobacco and Cask Convenient the Same to be paÿd in Kent
      Countÿ att or upon the tenth Daÿ of Ocber next Ensueing the Date hereof

      appear’d to Said action & thereupon this Cause was Continued, & from
      Court to Court it Was Soe Still Continued; untill this prsent Court being
      on the twentÿ fourth Daÿ of August anno Dñi 1703 Comes as well the
      afsd pltf bÿ his afsd attrÿ as ye afsd Defdt bÿ his Sd attrÿ who Defends
