      being ye 25th daÿ of Augt 1702 the Sherf made his retn. Cepi pr me John Hawkins Sherf ~ ~ ~
      And ye Said Deft by Michael Earle his Attr Comes & | wth Leave Imprles untill next
      Court being the twentÿ Second Daÿ of 7ber & year afsd ye Said action was Con=
      tinued, and Soe Continued from Court, to Court untill this prsent Court att wch Sd
      prsent Court being the four & twentÿeth Daÿ of August Anno Dñi 1703
      The Said pltf bÿ Richard Macklin his attrÿ Comes & Declares as followeth ~

      Kent Ss/    Charles Hollinsworth Junr. of Kent Countÿ plantr: Stands attached to an=
                       swer unto fflower Walker of a plea of trespass upon ye Case & Whereupon
                       the Said fflower Walker bÿ Richard Macklin his attorneÿ complaines yt
      Whereas ye Said fflower Walker ye Second Daÿ of 9ber Annõ Dñi 1700 [?] & untill ye four
      & twentÿeth daÿ of Jarÿ Ano Dñi 1701 att Kent Countÿ wthin ye Jurisdiction of ~
      this Court att Especiall Instance & request of ye Said Charles had Sold & Delivered
      unto ye Sd Charles Divers goods Warres & merchantdizes amounting to ye Sume of one
      thousand Eight hundred & ninetÿ nine pounds [illegible] and allsoe att ye like Instance
      & request of ye Said Charles ye four & twentÿeth Daÿ of Jarÿ anno Dñi 1701 wthin ye ~
      Jurisdiction aforesaid had lent unto ye Said Charles ye Sume of five Shillgs Sterg moneÿ
      which in tobo att one pennÿ pr pound amounts to ye Sume of Sixtÿ pounds of tobo
      all which Said Goods Warres & merchantdizes Sold & Delivered & moneÿ lent att one ~
      penÿ pr pound in tobo amõnts in ye whole to ye Sume of one thousand nine ~~
      hundred fiftÿ & nine pounds of tobo as bÿ an acct thereof to this Declaration
      añexed & here in Court brought ye Same appears in Condrãcon whereof ye Said
      Charles upon himselfe assumed & unto ye Said fflower Wallker then & there ~
      faithfullÿ promissed yt he ye Said Charles when thereunto afterwards required
      ye afsd Sume of 1949ls of tobo unto the Said fflower Wallker he wold well &
      & truelÿ Content & paÿ And alltho’ the Said Charles hath paÿd & Satisfied ~
                                                        eleven                    ninetÿ nine
      unto ye Said fflower the Sume of Eight hundred & fiftÿ ^ pounds of tobo prt
      of ye afsd Sume of 1959ls of tobo yett as to ye residue thereof being the Sume
      of Eight hundred & fiftÿ pounds of tobo the Said Charles his prmiss & assumption
      aforesd little regarding or minding but plotting Contriveing & fraudulently intend=
      ing him the Said fflower in that behalfe Craftÿlÿ & Subtilelÿ to Deceive & ~
      Defraud ye. aforesaid Sume of five hundred & Sixtÿ pounds of tobacco accord=
      ing to the aforesd prmiss & assumption alltho often thereunto required unto

      the Said ^ hath not paÿed but ye Same to paÿ he hath Denÿed & refused &
      Still Doth Denÿ & refuse to ye Damage of ye Said fflower 1400ls tobo &
